Valentine's Dance Party
Get ready for an afternoon filled with music, dancing, and fun with friends at our Valentine’s Dance Party!
Thursday, February 5, 5th and 6th Grade, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Friday, February 6, 7th and 8th Grade, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Admission is $5.00 for the dance, and concessions will be available. This is not a formal event, so please do not bring clothes to change into.
Parents, we ask that you purchase tickets in advance to help us avoid money being dropped off in the main office on the day of the event. Students must remain at school until the dance begins at 3:00 pm. Please have your rides waiting at 5:00 pm in the parent pick-up lot on the east side of the building. We can't wait to see our Beavers on the dance floor!

January is School Board Appreciation Month. Harper Creek Middle School 6th grade students and teachers thanked their Harper Creek Community School Board Members in person for helping fund their 6th grade camp experience at Battle Creek Outdoor Education Center, Clear Lake Camp.

Attention Staff and Students! Students, please remember to deposit your LEAD tickets in the grade-level bin in the cafeteria. Teachers don't forget to sign them so that you have a chance to win a prize too! Starting at the end of the month, there will be a prize for the student in each grade level who has received the most Lead Tickets.
Hey Students! The 5/6th- grade dance is from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Thursday, February 5, and the 7/8th- grade dance is from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Friday, February 6. Tickets are $5 and will be on sale at lunch this week and before school in room 213. Tickets may be purchased at the door. We will not allow you to call home to make arrangements on the day of the dance. Concessions will be available for purchase. Valentine's Day socks and glasses will be on sale starting Thursday at lunch.
This is not a formal dance, so please do NOT bring formal attire to change into. Also, you may not leave and re-enter the dance.
Lastly, please have your ride waiting promptly at 5:00 pm in the parent pick-up lot on the east side of the building.

Any WEB leaders who would like to sign up to do announcements, please email Ms. Bryant to get your name added to the list: [email protected]. You will get an email with the week you are signed up for. Remember to come down to the main office @7:37am during your announcement week!
Attention 8th graders! Are you interested in working backstage for the musical? There will be an informational meeting at the high school on Tuesday, February 10th, from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm. The meeting has been moved to the black box near the high school auditorium. Hear about our great opportunities, even if you didn't fill out the form.

Attention Clay Target Participants: There will be a parent meeting for the 2026 Harper Creek Clay Target team on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. The meeting will be in the High School Cafeteria and will begin at 7:00 pm.
The 8th-grade girls basketball teams hosted the Pennfield Panthers last night, and both teams came out victorious! The B team beat the Panthers 32 to 20. Top scorers were Jordyn White with an incredible 18 points, Abby Miller with 6 points, and Briella Fry and Hailey Green with 4 points apiece. The A team had a big win over the Panthers, 41 to 13. Top scorers were Isa Stanley with 14 points, Lyla Zumer with 8 points, Aaliyah Noel with 6 points, Peyton Bess with 5 points, Annabelle Shea with 4 points, and Lily Gandy and Kinsey Joziwak both had 2 points.
Keep working together, girls! Also, girls, please remember, we will be practicing at the high school today.
7th grade Girls B Team beat Pennfield last night. Top scorers were Edrianna Dimas and Aleena Prough with 4 points each. Lauren Lazarov scored 2 points.
7th Grade A Team also beat Pennfield. Sophia Zima scored 2 points. Emersyn Green played lock down defense and scored 4 points. Payton Smith scored 8 points, and Lauren Casselman scored 25 points! Great job girls. Your next game is tomorrow, Wednesday, February 4, at Coldwater. Good luck!
